Asus Eee Pad MeMo

Price: $249

The MeMo is a 7-inch tablet, with a 1,280x800-pixel-resolution IPS screen, running Android 4.0 on an Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. The tablet includes support for 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, and GPS. It has a 1.2-megapixel front camera and a 1080p-capable 5-megapixel back camera. But its most unbelievable feature is its expected $249 price tag.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

Samsung brings the unique note-taking capabilities of their Galaxy Note smartphone to the 10.1-inch screen of an Android tablet. Specs include Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich running on a 1.4GHz dual-core Samsung Exynos processor, along with a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Price: $449

Acer's updated version of its A500 Android tablet includes a quad-core Tegra 3 processor and an installation of Android 4.0, right out of the box. Its most unique feature is an internal 9,800mAh battery that promises up to 12 hours of video playback (a feat helped by the Tegra 3's dedicated video processor).

Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF700T

Expected release date: Spring 2012

Price: $600 (32GB)

The successor to Asus' popular Transformer Prime Android tablet, the TF700T model sports an upgraded 1,920x1,200-pixel-resolution screen and a few other improvements, such as 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and better GPS performance.
