SoundHound names tunes for Android users (pictures)
We take a look at SoundHound, the mobile app with an impressive ability to name tunes and offer related content in a single tap.
One tap to start
To start identifying a song, just hit the big yellow SoundHound button and hold your device up to the music source. It's that simple.
This will only take a second
SoundHound typically takes between 3 and 10 seconds to identify a song.
LiveLyrics while you listen
Once you identify a song, SoundHound's LiveLyrics feature pulls up lyrics that scroll in real time with the music. Of course, the app also offers options to share, buy, and listen to the song via other sources.
Artist info
SoundHound offers bios, discographies, and more for artists that it identifies.
What song was that again?
You can always check your SoundHound history to see songs that you've ID'd in the past. There's also a tab to see any songs that you've bookmarked.
