A line formed outside Snapchat's 59th street Spectacles' store, where people were able to purchase their glasses one at a time through a large yellow vending machine.
These sunglasses with an incorporated video camera are a whole lot of fun, as long as you're a Snapchat user. This is what they're like to use and how they work.
Our own Alfred Ng waited in line for hours to get these Spectacles.
If you're looking for the purchase location in New York you can't miss it-- this giant banner across from Apple's flagship store will stand out.
Would be customers lined up outside hoping to get in despite the fact that security guards warned them that no more people would be allowed in today.
It was a fairly large line, too.
The line inside was moving at a snails pace.
Once inside you'd join another long line, but at least you'd be inside where it was warm.
This vending machine serves one person at a time.
Destiny Bermudez was waiting for her chance to purchse Spectacles since 7:45 am.
Our own Alfred Ng has bought two pairs-- one for CNET to check out, and one for himself!
