Acer's 11-inch TimelineX is incredibly thin and light for an Intel Core i7 laptop, but how does it stack up against Apple's new 11-inch MacBook Air?
The 11-inch Air tapers from 0.68 inch to 0.11 inch thick, and the TimelineX is about 1.1 inches thick. The footprint of the Air is 11.8 inches by 7.56 inches, whereas the TimelineX is wider but shorter, at 11.2 inches by 8.0 inches.
The biggest difference is in the weight. With AC adapters, the MacBook Air weighs 2.3 pounds, and the the TimelineX is 3.1 pounds.
