If you're constantly sharing your earbuds with friends or family members, Mida Interactive has a better solution than just listening to mono out of one earbud: the ShareBuds Twin MX Earphones.
This $40 product integrates two sets of earbuds into one pair of headphones.
It does this by offering a single plug that breaks into a Y early on for the two earphones; then, into another Y to separate into a total of four earbuds.
The main downside of this design is that the cables are exceptionally tangle-prone, mostly because of the fact that there are so many wires to deal with.
Still, if you're a family that's sharing a DVD player in the backseat, or a teenager who's constantly listening to your MP3 player with a friend, the ShareBuds are a viable solution.
