Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex (photos)
Seagate announced Tuesday an entirely new line of storage solutions called FreeAgent GoFlex that emphasizes flexibility. The new storage family includes both portable and desktop external drives; each comes with cable adapters that allow the device to quickly adapt to difference interfaces.
The FreeAgent GoFlex 1TB drive with its included USB 2.0 cable adapter already snapped on.
This included adapter's USB cable can be detached from the adapter itself.
The drive without any adapter. It's essentially an internal SATA drive with a protective housing case.
The drive with an upgradable USB 3.0 adapter, which adds USB 3.0 speed to the drive. Note the blue connector (suggesting that it's USB 3.0) of the cable. This adapter's cable, by the way, can't be detached.
