Like many Samsung TVs, the flagship UND8000 is 3D-compatible. And yes, it, too, can play the "Shrek" 3D Blu-ray.

Samsung didn't detail the D7000 plasma in its press info, but we do know that it has a different-colored bezel (charcoal and not silver) and lacks the D8000's Web browser and touch-screen remote.

The midlevel PND6500 series showcases many of the company's changes compared with its 2010 plasmas.

Samsung didn't provide any information on this lower-end series, or any of the ones that follow, but we're posting the images anyway for the curious. The ones with model names that begin "UN" are LED-based LCDs, and the ones with "PD" are plasmas.
