Commentary: Unless you're crazy rich and have phones to spare, the foldable device may not be for you.
Today we tackle battery life and low light shots.
The Vibrant is part of the Galaxy S series of Android-based smartphones from Samsung and will be available from T-Mobile starting July 15 for $199.99 with a two-year contract.
A quick glance at the phone and you can see where the Vibrant gets its name. The 4-inch Super AMOLED touch screen is brilliant and sharp, so photos, videos, and Web pages look great.
There are four touch-sensitive buttons below the display to help you navigate the phone.
At 4.82 inches tall by 2.54 inches wide by 0.39 inch thick and 4.16 ounces, the Samsung Vibrant is incredibly thin and light, but it also feels rather plasticky.
On top of the device, there is a Micro-USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Vibrant is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera. It offers some advanced functions, such as smile and blink detection, panorama shot, and HD video recording, but it lacks a flash.
As a result, indoor shots came out a bit dark and dull.
