This refresh of Samsung's flagship smart fridge brings phone mirroring into the picture -- if you're using the right phone, that is.
You can stream music through the refrigerator's integrated Pandora app. If your TV supports external devices, you'll be able to share its broadcast feed with the fridge, too.
The option to keep tabs on the daily forecast is another potentially useful feature.
The new fridge includes a built-in 8-inch LCD touchscreen. Along with basic refrigerator controls, you'll be able to do things like browse Epicurious recipes and check the morning headlines. Galaxy S5 and Note 3 owners will also be able to mirror their phones on the fridge, and even make phone calls.
The new model features a more compact ice maker, which means that more of that interior capacity is usable space.
Inside the fridge, you'll find rearrangeable storage in the door, adjustable shelves made of tempered glass, and two bins with humidity controls.
The new fridge boasts 28 cubic feet of interior capacity. That's the same as the previous Samsung smart fridge model.
You can upload images into the fridge from your SD card, then use them as a screensaver.
The "FlexZone" drawer in between the fridge and the freezer is another nice feature that's carried over from the previous model. Movable racks make it easy to keep things neatly organized.
The FlexZone drawer also lets you choose from four preset temperature levels.

In true French door style, the smart fridge features a bottom drawer freezer. Samsung's take features a drawer within a drawer.
The new smart fridge will retail for $3,600, which is a little less than the original smart fridge retailed for when it debuted a few years ago. Samsung tells us that the new model will be hitting retail floors soon.
