Samsung shows off new multi-room speakers (pictures)

Samsung used iFA 2015 to show off three previously-announced multi-room speakers, the R5, R3 and R1.

BERLIN -- Samsung's ultra-high definition Blu-ray player -- the world's first -- is the company's biggest home entertainment news at IFA. But you can't really enjoy that crystal-clear picture without decent sound.

That's why you might consider the company's R5, R3 and R1 speaker series. These were officially announced weeks before IFA began, but Samsung still used its press conference to show them off.

The speakers have a cylindrical design in varying heights.

In the US, the R5, R3 and R1 sell for $399, $299 and $199 respectively.

You can select a white version to match your living room decor.

Or if you prefer, they also come in black.

Whichever you pick, the clean minimalist design should blend in nicely.

There are just a few controls on the top end.

In case you didn't get it, circles were a big theme in Samsung's product showcase area.
