The bottom line: With a price tag of just $50, the Samsung Replenish offers good value as a basic, easy-to-use Android phone, and one that's environmentally conscious to boot.
SAR: 0.30 w/kg
With a slab-style body and a QWERTY keyboard, the entry-level Replenish resembles phones aimed at business professionals.
The Replenish has a 2-megapixel camera on the back. There's a MicroSD card slot hiding underneath the back cover--not our favored spot for it.
The Replenish is mostly black with silver accents. It's reasonably thin as well.
While we could type effectively, the cramped keyboard might feel tiny or uncomfortable in larger hands.
Icons and the virtual keyboard looks petite on the Replenish's 2.8-inch touch screen.
Pictures turned out better than we expected, with sharp edges and clear imagery. Although colors weren't always spot on, we were pleasantly surprised with the 2-megapixel images.
