We didn't love everything about its design, but as an inexpensive, easy-to-use cell phone for making calls, the Samsung Gravity Txt gets the job done.

The Gravity Txt has a standard candy-bar design with a sliding keyboard. It's not completely perfect, but it's simple and easy to use.

The Gravity Txt's display is suitable for a messaging phone. The numeric keypad, however, feels rather squashed together. Also, we didn't love the optical joystick.

Though the Gravity Txt's QWERTY keyboard is spacious, the individual keys feel rather stiff.

The Gravity Txt has a plastic skin, but it has a solid and comfortable feel in the hand.

The Gravity's Txt's gray casing is highlighted by an emerald green stripe around the edge. The volume rocker sits on the left spine.

The Gravity Txt's camera lens and speaker rest on its rear side.
