The latest Android tablet to get
Samsung just announced the Galaxy Tab S3.
The 9.7-inch tablet is a spiffy Android device with a sleek design and promising specs.
HDR-ready
The Galaxy Tab S3 is the first "HDR-ready" tablet. Its processor and screen are both up to the task of displaying HDR content like photos and videos.
All-glass
Unlike the Galaxy Tab S2, the Galaxy Tab S3 has a sleek, all-glass back panel. It's an impressively classy step up from plastic.
AMOLED screen
The Tab S3 has a beautifully vibrant and sharp screen. This photo was taken outside and the tablet's screen was still clearly visible.
Detachable keyboard
There's an optional keyboard accessory, but you'll have to pay extra.
Magnetic connection
The keyboard connects magnetically, doubles as a cover and easily detaches.
Included stylus
The tablet does, however, come with a stylus -- the S-Pen.
Powerful camera
On the back you'll find a 13-megapixel camera.
Perfectly portable
For a tablet with a large screen, it manages to feel compact.
LTE model available
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will only be available in a 9.7-inch model. There will be an LTE-capable variant, however.
USB-C
The only port on the tablet is a USB-C port. That's great news for fast charging, but bad news if you already own many Micro-USB cables.
