A closer look at the Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash
Microsoft showed off the Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash today at the D Asia conference in Hong Kong. Both phones, for AT&T, follow up the Samsung Focus, one of the original Windows Phones. They also showed off the HTC Titan, which we got hands-on with at CTIA. All three are HSPA+-capable.
Samsung Focus S
The Samsung Focus S is faster, with a 1.4GHz processor, and an impressive 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touch screen (these are gorgeous, by the way.)
Textured backing
The Focus S updates the camera to an 8-megapixel shooter, and there's a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera. Being able to take video calls is a newly minted feature in Mango.
Central button
Look closely and you can see the central Home button on the Focus Flash.
Focus Flash
The Samsung Focus Flash is the more budget of the two Windows Mango 7.5 phones. It has a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display, and a 1.4GHz processor.
Focus Flash--backside
There's a 5-megapixel camera. There's a front-facing VGA camera as well.
