The Samsung Captivate Glide is one of five new Android phones that AT&T introduced at CTIA 2011. The Gingerbread Android phone features a slider design with a full QWERTY keyboard, but the carrier has not announced a release date or pricing yet.

The Captivate Glide features a 4-inch Super AMOLED touch screen with a 480x800-pixel resolution. It runs Samsung's TouchWiz user interface on top of the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

The smartphone is powered by Nvidia's Tegra 2 dual-core processor and has 1GB RAM. It has 8GB of internal memory, as well as a microSD expansion slot. The quad-band GSM phone is compatible with AT&T's HSPA+ 21Mbps network.

Unlike the original Samsung Captivate, the Glide is equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard. The four-row keyboard features squarish buttons, with dedicated buttons for the standard Android shortcuts.

The top of the phone houses a 3.5mm headphone jack and a Micro-USB port, with a sliding protective cover.

Though the Captivate Glide has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, it's not particularly thick or clunky.

In the upper right-hand corner, you'll find the smartphone's 1.3-megapixel camera, which can be used for video calls.

Samsung has added a textured back to the Captivate Glide, so the phone's plastic body doesn't feel too slippery.
