Cobra AirWave turns on the tunes
LAS VEGAS -- At CTIA 2013, Cobra announced the $39.95 AirWave wireless music receiver, which lets you stream audio from your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone to your car's sound system.
Easy travel companion
Weighing in at a little over an ounce, the device is extremely lightweight and portable. Its square black body runs just 2.2 by 2.2 inches, and it would have no trouble finding space in your car.
Wrap it around tight
The middle part of the AirWave is slightly narrower than its top and bottom, making it easy to wrap cords around its body for tidier storage.
Getting ready to pair
Up top is the Bluetooth indicator. If it's blinking blue, that means the AirWave is in pairing mode. You'll know when pairing is successful when the light stays solid.
Let the cords unravel
The receiver comes packaged with a 3.5mm-to-3.5mm auxiliary cord, an RCA cable, and a Micro-USB charging cord.
How long can it last?
Maximum range tops out at 33 feet, and its battery has a reported usage- and standby-time of 15 hours and 30 hours, respectively.
