Swipe left for controls

The content aware controls can be accessed with a swipe to the left, giving you tools that work best depending on what you're looking at. This is what you see when you access the tools from a list of stories.

You'll need an account first

If you're new to RSS, it's important to note that the app pulls all of its information from other popular RSS readers including Feedly, Feedbin, and FeedWrangler. If you don't have an account with one of these services, you'll need to get one or Unread is unusable.

Check your story counts

When you open the RSS service from the first screen, you can see your current story counts for that service.
