The Nutri Ninja Auto-IQ Compact System adds a food processor and a 48-ounce blending jar to the original smoothie focused Nutri Ninja. It also packs in a bunch of features such as the Auto-IQ button presets. Click through to see how it uses its features to help you blend more quickly.

The Nutri Ninja focused on smoothies. With the extra pieces of the Compact System, you're able to blend a bit more.

The Compact System still comes with the to-go cups the Nutri Ninja is known for. You can blend right in this jar and then swap out the blades for the lid.

In addition to the plastic to-go cup, the Compact System throws in a stainless steel blending cup.

This blade attachment fits into both to-go cups and the main 48-ounce jar.

You'll need to flip all of these containers upside down to open them.

The suction cups on the bottom of the base help keep it steady, which is handy when you're blending something hardy in the food processor attachment.

Seal the lid on the food processor attachment by lining up the arrows and pressing the handle down.

Put any blending jar into place, and the buttons light up, giving you normal options like pulsing the blades and spinning them at a low speed, and offering presets to extract or blend.

Hit the blend button, and the Ninja will run through a series of pulses at a variety of speeds.

The different speeds and length of pulses of the preset helped work the thicker ingredients down toward the blades better than leaving in on straight for a similar length of time.

The presets won't change based on what you're blending. The blend button ran the same program with smoothies and whipped cream.

The blender pulverized a big block of cheese after awhile. The food processor attachment worked through the cheese quite quickly.
