Podcasts gets a face-lift (pictures)
Some UI tweaks and a new way to make playlists makes Podcasts easier to use.
No more reel-to-reel UI
The latest version of Apple's Podcasts removes the reel-to-reel tape look, instead giving you a similar experience to when you play music in the Music app.
Browse and choose your podcasts
Look at categories or featured content, then drill down to something you want to listen to and choose the episodes you want.
A familiar interface for browsing
Just like the iTunes music and app stores, you can look at New and Noteworthy podcasts, what's most popular, and other categories.
Check the chart toppers
Hit the Top Charts button on the bottom to see the podcasts other people are checking out.
Category view
If you're really unsure what to check out, there's always the category view to let you drill down to something you might enjoy.
