At this year's E3, Sony showed off a slew of new games for the PlayStation 4 -- including a bunch of new exclusives. Here's the list.

The Order: 1886

Great exclusive titles can mean the difference between a system that's flying off the shelves and, well, Nintendo's Wii U. At its press conference on Monday night, Sony came out swinging with a fairly impressive list.

We got our first glimpse of The Order 1886 at last year’s E3 , but it wasn’t much more than that -- a glimpse. In tonight’s reveal, we saw bit of the action as one of the game’s seemingly Victorian-era protagonists took pot shots at something like a cross between a werewolf and an especially lithe, highly articulate zombie.

Read back on our liveblog to learn what else Sony has out this year, and check out CNET's complete E3 2014 coverage.

Entwined

Entwined stars two birds -- or maybe they’re fish? -- yearning to be together, and turn into dragons. It’s pretty too, in a bizarre sort of way: each thumbstick controls its own character, which should make for a dizzying ride.

inFamous First Light

The next entry in the inFamous open-world quasi-superhero saga, First Light is a standalone downloadable game that casts you as Fetch -- fans might remember her from inFamous Second Son. Details are scant, so we’ll need to wait until the game arrives this August to see what's in store.

LittleBigPlanet 3

I can never get enough LittleBigPlanet, so it’s great to hear that there’ll be a third installment of Sony’s construction-centric platformer game. Series star Sackboy returns, with three new friends to help you navigate the game’s treacherous levels. Better still, the more than 8 million levels created by fans in LittleBigPlanet 1 and LittleBigPlanet 2 will be available for your perusal.

Grim Fandango

One of the greatest adventure games of all time, finally available again, in a souped-up, remastered edition? Yes please.

Let it Die

Suda 51 makes bizarre, flashy games that aren't afraid to show off their homicidal tendencies. Let it Die doesn't seem to be straying too far from his oeuvre.

Abzu

Some of the minds behind the phenomenal PS3 game Journey have a new game in the works, and at first blush it’s… a bit like Journey, but underwater. I’m okay with that. Like so many other games at this year’s E3 we’ll have to wait for details, but Abzu appears to champion exploration, and evidently has some gorgeous design.

Bloodborne

Bloodborne -- the title formerly sort of known as Project Beast -- is coming to the PS4. And that’s about all we know. But given developer From Software’s penchant for punishing players with brutal gameplay and all manner of horror, I suspect we’ll be in for a bit of good old fashioned abject terror.

No Man's Sky

No Man’s Sky is being billed as a procedurally generated exploration-centric adventure that gives players an entire universe to roam. No two people will experience quite the same things. As a dyed in the wool explorer who doesn’t mind a spot of space-faring, consider me sold.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

And the game most of us were waiting for: Uncharted 4. Sure, we didn’t see much of anything. But that’s okay: confirmation that our adventures as Nathan Drake aren’t completely over is its own reward.
