Photos: Samsung K3
The K3 is quite possibly the best looking flash player out there, and the sound quality is worth hearing. The player's intuitiveness and responsive interface are sure to please, though you'd better be cool with touch-sensitive controls and no tactile feedback. For a player that's so light on features, the K3 is still pretty satisfying.
The K3 wants to be ogled. It's OK--you can do it with no shame.
No doubt about it: The Samsung K3 is one sleek and stylish MP3 player. Get one decked out in Cherry red, Apple green, or Midnight black--all with a shimmery metallic sheen.
Like the iPod Nano, the Samsung K3 sports a proprietary USB port and a headphone jack on its bottom edge rather than on the top.
Few players match the K3 in its shiny glory. We dig the blue-and-red backlighting on the controls, too.
Sure, the K3 will slip easily into just about any pocket, but be careful if it's in your pants. We worry that sitting down could put undue pressure on the player and damage it.
Because of it's superglossy exterior, the K3 is a total fingerprint magnet.
Believe it or not, the K3 is actually thinner than the iPod Nano. (Stop scoffing--it's true!)
