The LG Lotus is Sprint's effort at a fashion-forward messaging phone. Its square design is certainly eye-catching, and one of the color options is this textured purple, with embossed flowers and flourishes.

The Lotus opens up to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard, and is obviously designed for texting. The number keys are highlighted in purple, and the screen is nice and wide, as well.

The LG Lotus is also available in "satin black." Other features include a 2.0-megapixel camera, a music player, EV-DO support, and access to Sprint's broadband services.

The LG Lotus is surprisingly slim for what first appears to be a somewhat chubby device. It feels lightweight, and the keys are well-spaced and easy to thumb-type.
