Looking for a way to personalize your boring old phone? A new product called a Coveroo replaces the original back cover of your mobile device with a customized cover featuring laser-etched artwork.
The service offers more than 250 designs from brands including the Beatles, AC/DC, Madonna, Star Trek, Family Guy, and Barbie, to name a few.
Here, a BlackBerry Pearl features Homer Simpson. If Homer's not your favorite Simpsons character, you can opt for Apu, Bart, Mr. Burns, or Waylon Smithers, among others.

For now, Coveroos come in plastic or metal, with plans to expand into other materials, such as leather, according to the company.

Coveroo cover
Coveroos can be ordered online at the company's Web site, or at select Best Buy stores. They are currently compatible with phones including the iPhone 3G; BlackBerry Bold, Pearl, and Curve; LG Rumor and LG Dare; Palm Centro and Palm Treo 700 and 800; and Samsung Instinct, with more models to come, according to the company.
