Say hello the Volkner Mobil Performance S, a $1.7M mobile home that may just be one of the most luxurious recreational vehicles on the planet.
With a totally customizable interior that features real wood, marble, two 40-inch TVs, a separate bath and shower and fully fitted kitchen, it's the ultimate road trip machine.
And it has a rather special secret.
Click through to take a tour of this awesome vehicle.
That's right, this massive motor home has its own hydraulic parking bay for a sports car.
We drove to see the Performance S in a Porsche 718 Cayman GTS. It fit perfectly in the bay, and after a few moments it was tucked away inside the RV.
The idea is that you can drive the RV to a beautiful camping spot, park and set up camp, and still have a fun small car to tour the wonderful scenery.
Inside, it's stunning, with real wood cabinets, real sheepskin carpets and special marble-effect flooring that weighs less than real marble but is completely indistinguishable from the real thing.
There's a microwave oven, of course.
And a state-of-the-art induction stovetop, too.
The kitchen is a gorgeous place to cook.
Luckily then, it's paired with a gorgeous place to sit and eat.
The glassware cabinet is perfectly lit to show off your finest crystal. The vehicle's suspension has apparently been softened specifically to avoid rattling the glassware too much.
There's a full-size double bed, which is extremely comfortable to lie on (trust me, I tried).
And at the end of the bed is a 40-inch TV, with multiple HDMI ports in case you fancy taking your Xbox on holiday with you.
The TV slides into the sideboard when not in use.
The Performance S is full of surprises -- it turns out that the whole side panel extends outward when parked, giving a significant boost to the amount of living space within.
Just make sure you close it up before you head off down those narrow country lanes.
There's an electronic awning on the other side.
Of course, there's a place to hang a couple of luxurious fluffy robes.
The washbasin looks like it's pulled straight from a luxury 5-star hotel.
The bedroom is paneled in real wood.
There are temperature controls in the different parts of the vehicle so you can customize the heating to your needs.
Lovely stitching.
There's a gorgeous shower cubicle with a rainforest-style overhead shower unit.
Even up close, I couldn't tell that the floor isn't real marble. You could spec it up with real marble if you wanted, but it'd add several tons to the already 20-ton weight.
It's understated from the outside -- you wouldn't know it's a luxury home on wheels if it just passed you on the highway.
A real toilet. Heated and everything. If you've ever had to contend with nasty service station toilets on a long trip, you'll appreciate the joy of a proper facility.
The cockpit has a wide array of different controls to deal with. No wonder you'll need a special HGV license to drive it.
This shower is nicer than the real one in my London apartment.
There's a dishwasher too, because who wants to wash their own plates on holiday?
It probably doesn't come with the Nespresso machine, but I'm sure if you asked they'd chuck it in.
There are hidden cupboards and handy storage areas tucked away all around the vehicle.
Your plates, bowls and, er, ornamental whistling angel, will all be safely stored in here.
Even at 6 feet, 2 inches tall, I could easily stand up and walk about.
You really won't run out of storage on board the Performance S.
It's a lovely place to sit and eat.
The driver's chair (or throne, as I called it) is huge and extremely cushy -- perfect for a long road trip.
A delightful scene, but presumably you'll need to pack this all away before you set off to keep your champagne glasses from crashing to the ground.
