If you like your cameras with a little more heft and your zooms with a little more length, spare a moment for the new Olympus SP-600UZ and SP-800UZ superzoom cameras. They offer a choice of 15x or 30x zooms, as well as 1GB or 2GB built-in memory.
Like the Olympus mju Tough-6020 and Tough-8010 also announced today, the new superzooms take SD and SDHC cards as well as that capacious -- it's a word, look it up -- onboard memory. They both include panorama mode, shadow adjustment and a 5-megapixel, 6 frames per second burst mode. Both shoot 720p high-definition video.
The 12-megapixel 600UZ boasts a 15x optical zoom. It also crams in 1GB of internal memory. Then it's a step up to the 14-megapixel 800UZ, with its 30x optical zoom and 2GB of onboard memory.
Both cameras will be available in March. Click 'Continue' and hit up our gallery of official pictures to find out more, including the prices.
