This Wi-Fi device automatically dispenses portioned meals on a schedule of your choosing.

The Petnet SmartFeeder is designed for cats or dogs at or under 50 pounds.

A related Android and iPhone app gives you access to scheduling and receiving alerts when your pet's food dispenses.

Petnet stipulates that the dry food should measure between 1/8 and 5/8 inches in diameter; the SmartFeeder can dispense between 1/16- and 1 1/2-cup portions per meal.

Press the button on the feeder to feed your dog manually.

Two tabs lock the food reservoir's lid in place.

Petnet's connected feeder can hold up to 7 pounds of dry dog or cat food.

The SmartFeeder comes with a power adapter, but it also has a rechargeable battery that last for up to 7 hours.
