The X2 has a dull design, but it's all about messaging so we don't mind. Like many Nokia phones it has a sturdy construction and it's easy to use.
The X2 is a convenient size. It fits squarely in the hand, slips easily into a pocket, and won't weigh you down.
We liked the X2's domed keys. The arrangement is relatively spacious too.
On the back of the X2 are the camera lens and speaker.
On the X2's left spine are the microSD card slot and Micro-USB port. Unfortunately, there's no dedicated volume rocker.
