Nokia Lumia 810 is blocky, but nice (pictures)

T-Mobile's Nokia Lumia 810 is a solid brick of a Windows Phone, but it's what's on the inside that counts.

Get acquainted with the Nokia Lumia 810

T-Mobile's Nokia Lumia 810 is a thick brick of a smartphone. While it won't win any awards for style, it does fulfill all the important Windows Phone functions.

Windows Phone 8

Since the Lumia 810 runs Windows Phone 8, it comes with the new start screen. You'll be able to adjust live tile sizes and make more use of the screen.

Camera

The green lettering you see here is just a trick of the light, but the 8-megapixel lens and dual-LED flash are the real deal.

Connections

The Micro-USB charging port is on the bottom, flanked by speakers.

Convenient buttons

I'm a fan of Nokia's button designs. The volume rocker (at right in the picture above), power button (center), and camera shutter button (left) stick above the body, making them easy to find and press.
