The MacBook Pro comes in three flavours: a 13-inch version, a 15-inch version with a standard screen, and a 15-inch version with the new eye-melting high-resolution retina display. The MacBook Air comes in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes. All the new laptops offer a host of custom options too.
MacBook Pro with retina display
The 15-inch MacBook Pro boasts a 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, which with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.3GHz, plus 8GB of memory and 256GB of flash storage. That starts at £1,800.
A 2.6GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.6GHz, 8GB of memory and 512GB of flash storage costs £2,300.
Extra options for the retina display-packing Pro include faster quad-core processors up to 2.7GHz, up to 16GB of memory, and flash storage up to 768GB.
MacBook Pro
The 13-inch MacBook Pro packs a 2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of memory and a 500GB hard drive, for £1,000.
Or you can go for a 13-inch model with 2.9GHz dual-core Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB of memory and a 750GB hard drive, all for £1,250.
The 15-inch MacBook Pro comes with a 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, 4GB of memory, Intel HD Graphics 4000 and an Nvidia GeForce GT 650M graphics chip, and a 500GB hard drive. That'll cost you £1,500.
Or you can get a 15-inch Pro with a 2.6GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB of memory, Intel HD Graphics 4000 and Nvidia GeForce GT 650M, and a 750GB hard drive. That'll set you back £1,800.
You can customise your Pro with options including faster quad-core processors up to 2.7GHz, extra hard-drive capacity up to 1TB, up to 8GB of memory and solid-state storage up to 512GB.
MacBook Air
The 11-inch MacBook Air comes with a 1.7GHz processor, 4GB of memory, and 64GB of flash storage for £850 all-in. Plump for 128GB of flash storage and your slimline 11-inch laptop costs £930.
The 13-inch MacBook Air comes with a 1.8GHz processor and 4GB of memory, and is available with 128GB of flash storage for £1,000
Primp your 13-inch Air with 256GB of flash storage, and it'll cost you £1,250.
Bonus options include a 2.0GHz Intel Core i7 processor, up to 8GB of 1,600MHz DDR3 onboard memory, and up to 512GB flash storage.
