At the World Wide Developers Conference Apple announced a bunch of small improvements and additions for the Apple TV box and tvOS software. Here's a peek.

The head of Apple TV takes the stage to announce some new features. He said there are now more than 6,000 Apple TV apps, including 1300 video channels.

Backgrounds change from white to black to ease eyestrain in dark rooms.

New Remote app
The redesigned control app for Apple phones and tablets mimics the Apple TV remote's touchscreen and allows more Siri interactions.
Sling TV app
Available today, the Sling TV app for Apple TV offers access to the $20/month live TV service, with an all-new interface that was first announced at CES.
Fox Sports Go
The new app allows up to four games to be viewed on the same screen simultanrously.
Sketch Party
A new game where people draw using their iPhones and guess at the drawings that appear on TV.
Automatic downloads
Cue's example: Download an app on you phone and it automatically appears on the TV. "Do nothing, and there it is, right on your Apple TV."
