Netflix gets an update (pictures)

New buttons for real-time scrubbing and other interface tweaks make Netflix easier to use.

Home screen

On the home screen you can browse the current library of streaming movies (updated every month). Also, Netflix automatically saves the shows you're currently watching at the top.

Real-time scrubbing

New interface additions include a big button for real-time scrubbing and it worked very smoothly in our testing.

You can use the search field in the upper right to find your favorite shows (if they are currently available).

Browse by genre

Use the Browse button in the upper left to quickly switch genres.

Subtitles

For the hearing impaired or silent viewing, you can switch on subtitles by touching the screen and selecting subtitles from a drop-down menu.
