MWC 2017: All the gadgets announced so far

At Mobile World Congress, a lot can happen -- it's the world's biggest mobile industry trade show. From phones to laptops to smartwatches and everything in between, here's everything that's been announced in Barcelona so far.

For the 5.7-inch G6, LG ditched the modular-like design of its predecessor and the removable battery. But it does offer water resistance, wireless charging (for the US variant) and dual cameras.

All aboard the nostalgia train: Nokia has gone retro and rebooted its beloved 3310 phone. Sporting a slightly refreshed look but keeping the classic specs (a 2.4-inch display and month-long battery life!), the 3310 tugs at our millennial heartstrings.

The 9.7-inch Galaxy Tab S3 is one of the first HDR-ready tablets, meaning it has the processor and screen to show high-dynamic range video. It also runs Android and has a luxe glass design.

Based on Android and running BlackBerry software on top, the KeyOne may be the BlackBerry brand's comeback phone. It has features BB loyalists love, such as a physical keyboard, BlackBerry Messenger and a convenience key.

Samsung announced a new Gear VR headset that comes with a touchpad controller. The headset appears to be nearly identical to earlier models and it still works with a variety of Galaxy smartphones. The controller, which will also work with earlier Gear VR headsets, makes it easier to interact with games and navigating the virtual interface. The controller features buttons for volume, Back and Home, along with a touchpad.

Lenovo's pair of affordable Moto phones, the G5 and G5 Plus, both have 5.2-inch displays and splash-resistant designs. But the latter will sport slightly better specs, including a 12-megapixel dual-camera setup, a bigger battery and a faster processor.

The new Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a high-end metal chassis with curved glass along the front and back. The company's new flagship phone is equipped with a 5.5-inch 4K display, a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage with a microSD card slot and a 19-megapixel camera. The Premium also includes a new super slo-mo function that can shoot at an impressive 960 frames per second.

In addition to the XZ Premium, Sony also showed off two budget-friendly phones: the Xperia XA1 and XA Ultra, both of which feature a nearly edge-to-edge display.

Sony's prototype Xperia Ear are noise-canceling earphones lets you still pick up on traffic sounds or people's voices, without having to take it out of your ear canals. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and can pick up calls too.

Samsung's second tablet at MWC is the Galaxy Book, which runs Windows 10. Gunning for the Microsoft Surface, the Book comes in 10- and 12-inch variants, is bundled with a detachable keyboard and an S-Pen stylus and has a Intel Core i5 processor.

Boasting a robust smartwatch battery, the Watch 2 is said to last up to 25 days on a single charge in low-power mode, where it's basically just a step tracker. It also has GPS, an optical heart-rate sensor, NFC for digital payments and 4G LTE cellular connection on some international models. The classic edition is pictured here.

We have to admit, the Pro x2 612 G2 has us seeing double with the Microsoft Surface Pro. But this slim, 12-inch tablet with a fold-out kickstand has the latest seventh-generation Intel processors, a tougher construction and better security compared with the Elite X2.

The X Power 2 isn't the most powerful device on the market (it has a 1.5GHz processor, a 13-megapixel camera and a 5.5-inch display). But with its 4,500mAh battery, it's expected to have enough juice to last you throughout the day and then some.

Sporting a lovely minimalist aesthetic, Nokia's new 3, 5 and 6 phones hope to spark new life in the venerable phone brand. All run Android Nougat, but the 6 is the most advanced, with a 5.5-inch display, a 16-megapixel camera and a fingerprint reader.

Coming in a variety of colors and finishes, the P10 and P10 Plus sport two 20-megapixel Leica cameras on the rear. Working in conjunction with an image processor that has 3D face detection and uses 190 points of recognition, the phones can render portraits with bokeh-style depth-of-field effects.

Watch out, Chromebooks. Lenovo's new Miix 320 is a Windows 10 tablet that starts at just $200 in the US. That price includes a detachable keyboard and touchpad that gives you a more traditional laptop experience. The tablet, which Lenovo claims can run up to 10 hours, packs a 10.1-inch touchscreen with a 1,920x1,200-pixel resolution. It's powered by an Intel Atom X5 processor with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 5-megapixel rear-facing one.

The latest Panasonic Toughbook takes a page out of Microsoft's playbook. The new rugged laptop features a detachable keyboard similar to the Microsoft Surface. The hybrid tablet is equipped with a 2,160x1,440-pixel touchscreen that works even when wearing gloves and in the rain.

Lenovo makes some of our favorite Windows 10 laptops, and the company's newest model may be the most exciting yet. At Mobile World Congress, Lenovo unveiled three new options for 2017: the 15.6- and 13-inch Yoga 720 and the 14-inch Yoga 520.

Both sizes of the 720 are equipped with IPS touchscreens and feature resolutions up to 3,840x2,160 pixels. Best of all? The screen has almost no bezel. As is the case with other models in the Yoga line, both of these laptops have screens that can be bent backward 180 degrees.

The Lenovo Tab 4 will be available in two different sizes -- 8- and 10.1-inch -- as well as in both regular and Plus versions when it goes on sale in May. Both models will run Android 7.0 Nougat, but the Plus version will include higher-end specs.

Two add-on packs add features. The Kid's Pack includes a shock-resistant bumper, a blue-light filter and 3M stickers for scratch protection, along with kid-friendly software. The Productivity Pack includes a Bluetooth keyboard and touchpad to transform your tablet into a laptop and help you get some work done when the kids have gone to bed.

The Alcatel A5 is the company's first modular phone. Three accessories expand how you can use it: There's a speaker, a battery pack that doubles its life and a programmable LED case that will light up when you get a notification (pictured).

The A5 wasn't alone at Alcatel's Mobile World Congress event. The company also showed off the midrange A3 and low-end U5.

Waverly Labs showed off a "Star Trek"-like universal translator. The Pilot Translation Earpiece is an AirPod-style wireless headset that is capable of translating conversations in real time. The headset must be paired with an iPhone or Android device, which will use machine learning inside of Waverly's app to translate audio recorded by the earpiece and transmit it to your friend's earpiece.

ZTE's new budget-friendly Blade V8 phones may not have all the bells and whistles of other devices, but both phones promise to be easy on your wallet. The most noteworthy feature is the dual rear cameras. The Blade V8 Mini is equipped with both a 13- and a 2-megapixel camera on the back. This lets you shoot photos with blurred backgrounds similar to the Apple iPhone 7 Plus. There's also the ability to refocus an image after you've already snapped the photo.

The Sony Xperia Projector runs Android and is able to turn a wall or surface into a 23-inch interactive screen. A built-in infrared sensor lets you touch and interact with the "screen" like you would with your phone. The projector can be used to browse the web, stream music and videos, beam a movie onto the wall, video chat with friends (it's got a built-in camera), play games and more.

In addition to the midrange Leisure L7, Chinese phone maker showed off the Ginger G7 (and G7s) and the Voyage V6 at MWC. The Leisure L7 features a fingerprint reader, a 5.5-inch display and a Snapdragon 430 processor.

The Saphir tablet is a rugged Android Nougat device that can survive drops to the floor as well as splashes of water. It features a 10.1-inch display, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and a 5-megapixel camera.

Archos also unveiled two new Android Nougat phones. While both have a 13-megapixel camera, the 55 Graphite is slightly more higher-end, with a 5.5-inch display, a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. In comparison, the 50 Graphite has only a 5-inch display and 1GB of RAM.
