A tiny, mediocre display

The Motorola Droid Mini features a small 4.3-inch LCD screen. Sadly it lacks the high contrast or accurate colors of Motorola's other new phones, namely the Moto X, Droid Ultra, and Droid Maxx.

Smooth, shiny, but slippery

The back side of the Motorola Droid Mini is smooth to the touch and glossy but is a fingerprint magnet. You can also see here the phone's 10-megapixel camera with LED flash circled by a large speaker.

A compact profile

Measuring just 0.35 inch thick, the Droid Mini is tiny enough to squeeze into tight places.

A secret SIM slot

In an interesting twist, the Droid Mini's volume buttons double as the phone's SIM card slot.

Pint-size but packing modern Android

Despite its small stature, the Motorola Droid Mini runs Android 4.2.2 powered by Motorola's X8 computing platform.
