The Motorola Moto G5 Plus
Motorola retains its crown as the budget phone king with the new Moto G5 Plus.
It packs premium features into a budget package.
The G5 Plus replaces the beloved Moto G4 series.
The screen is a 5.2-inch, 1,920x1080-pixel display.
No more plastic backside!
The Moto G4 Plus had a slightly bigger screen, but the G5 Plus' 5.2-inch HD display is sharp and vibrant.
The Moto G5 Plus (left) is joined by the smaller and cheaper G5.
It runs a near stock version of Android 7.0 Nougat.
Motorola has added some slick new navigation features.
The rear camera is a 12-megapixel shooter and has the same sensor used in the Samsung Galaxy S7.
The G5 Plus also shoots 4K video.
Below the rear camera is a dual-LED flash that color balances to its environment.
The fingerprint sensor can be enabled to act like a home button.
Swipe or tap on the bottom of the phone to switch apps, find contacts or launch Google Now.
The fingerprint sensor is like a small trackpad.
The phone is splash-proof to keep you singin' in the rain.
The G5 Plus has a headset jack and a micro-USB port for charging.
On the right side, is a volume rocker and a sleep/wake button.
The top of the phone has a SIM card tray with a spot for a microSD up to 128GB.
Inside the G5 Plus is a 2GHz octacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor.
The G5 Plus comes in a 32GB model with 2GB of RAM and a 64GB model with 4GB of RAM.
