The 4-inch screen on the Motorola Droid 4 is not a high-contrast AMOLED display. Still, it does offer a high qHD resolution (940x540 pixels).

The Motorola Droid 4 feels solid in the hand but may be a tight fit in small pockets.

Besides the great physical keyboard, the Droid 4 also offers the stock Gingerbread virtual keyboard plus the Swype text input method.

It's hard to beat the Motorola Droid 4's well-designed keyboard, with its five rows, number keys, and even arrow buttons.

At a portly half-an-inch thick, the Motorola Droid 4 can never be called a svelte mobile machine.

The Motorola Droid 4's top edge houses a power button and 3.5mm headphone jack.
