Asus' Transformer Book T100 clips in to Windows 8.1
Asus' new Transformer Book T100 may look like a laptop, but pull it apart from the keyboard and you can see it's all Windows 8.1 tablet set snugly into a dock.
You'll also find Intel HD Graphics alongside the quad-core Bay Trail chip. There's a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, but no rear camera on this unit.
Seek them and you shall find ports: Micro-HDMI, Micro-USB, a headset jack, and a microSD card reader. The keyboard also musters up a single USB 3.0 port.
It may look a bit bulky, but then consider that each portion weighs 1.2 pounds alone and less than 2.5 pounds when joining forces. That's almost lighter than a real book (OK, a college text book).
