The MegaUpload case, involving founder Kim DotCom and others accused of helping him run the hosting site, is one of the largest criminal copyright cases ever brought by the U.S. DotCom, aka Kim Schmitz, appears in a New Zealand court to answer to piracy and racketeering charges made against him in the U.S.
