The Xiaomi Redmi Note is the company's latest low-cost phablet, available in Asia for around $160/£100/AU$170.
It's powered by an octa-core processor.
It's a chunky plastic device, weighing a hefty 7 ounces (199 grams).
The white plastic doesn't show up fingerprints, but it does get a bit sweaty.
The rear cover is removable.
The 13-megapixel camera isn't top-notch, especially in low light, but it's perfectly fine. There's a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
The phone has dual-SIM support as well as a 3,200mAh removable battery.
Xiaomi's MIUI interface is easy to use, but sits on top of the ageing Android Jelly Bean software.
While the LG G3 and the Redmi Note have the same screen size, the G3 is noticeably smaller. It is, of course, three times more expensive.
