HP's 7-inch Slate 7 Extreme is a unique Android tablet, featuring front-facing speakers and a stylus. It's also the first Android tablet to get the Camera Awesome app, a camera that has only been on iOS until now.

Internal specs
Inside the Slate 7 Extreme there's an Nvidia Tegra 4 CPU, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, depending on the model you choose. There's also a microSD card slot to add extra storage.
Stylus
The tablet comes with a stylus for writing, drawing, and general navigation. When you use the stylus, the Slate 7 Extreme's palm-rejection technology kicks in to prevent interference.
Camera
The back of the tablet features an 8-megapixel camera. On the front bezel, you'll find a 2-megapixel camera as well. Both cameras have Camera Awesome technology baked in to add extra camera features.
Speakers
Similar to the HTC One, the Slate 7 has two front-facing speakers that span the full width of the tablet.
