New Magnavox over-the-air DVRs could be a cord-cutter's dream (pictures)

Going the antenna route? Magnavox has three new over-the-air DVRs coming in late 2016 that you should check out.

One of them, the $400 MDR877 shown here, even lets you burn your recorded shows to DVD.

The $450 TB560HP offers two tuners and a spacious 1TB hard drive, for recording hundreds of hours of over-the-air TV.

The step-up $500 model offers six tuners.

The key feature here is the subscription-free electronic programming guide (EPG). It looks far better than ones we've seen on past products.

All of the new models include Wi-Fi connectivity, and can stream programs to iOS and Android devices, such as the Lenovo tablet shown here.

They can also sync to one another wirelessly for multiroom functionality -- start watching a show in the living room, finish it in the bedroom.
