Nintendo Labo: VR Kit (the full set)

Yes, Nintendo is getting into VR for the Switch with a Labo cardboard kit. The Nintendo Labo: VR Kit is coming April 12. Here's a look at what's inside the $80 box.

Toy-Con Goggles

The kit has VR goggles, like Google Cardboard, that the Switch pops into. Presto, a VR kit!

One of the weird included accessories: this bird. What's happening inside bird world?

Toy-Con Blaster

A Blaster add-on seems to turn the whole Switch into a VR bazooka.

Snap: This appears to be a VR camera. Maybe the game inside is like Pokemon Snap (who remembers that one?).

Toy-Con Wind Pedal

This pedal looks similar to the one in the Labo Vehicle kit, except here... is it creating wind? Or powering something? Why is it a wind pedal?

Nintendo Labo: VR Kit Starter Set

A less expensive $40 kit appears to be Nintendo's way of offsetting the Labo kit's higher prices. The basic kit has the goggles and the Blaster, while the extras will be sold separately in two $20 add-on packs, should you want to add them. We haven't played or checked it out yet, but we hope to soon.

I Got an Early Look at Intel's Glass Packaging Tech for Faster Chips
Rahul Manepalli, right, Intel's module engineering leader, shows a glass substrate panel before it's sliced into the small rectangles that will be bonded to the undersides of hundreds of test processors. The technology, shown here at Intel's CH8 facility in Chandler, Arizona, stands to improve performance and power consumption of advanced processors arriving later this decade. Glass substrates should permit physically larger processors comprised of several small "chiplets" for AI and data center work, but Intel expects they'll trickle down to PCs, too.
