BARCELONA -- This is the Lenovo Vibe Shot, a smartphone that puts a lot of focus (geddit?) on its camera capabilities. We got a look at it here at Mobile World Congress 2015.

The Vibe Shot looks like an ordinary smartphone, and in some regards it is. This is a 5-inch display, for instance.

It has 3GB of RAM and a quad-core processor, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop. So far, so ordinary, right?

These switches are where things get interesting. The one on the right is a dedicated shutter button, while the one on the left lets you toggle between 'smart' and 'pro' camera modes.

Smart mode is a more basic point-and-shoot mode, but does have some interesting quirks, including an object-identification feature that gives you a visual guide to lining up what the phone thinks is the best shot.

This is 'Pro' mode, which gives you a tonne of extra camera options to play with.

You can tweak aperture, ISO, depth-of-field and white balance, among others.

The camera itself has a 16-megapixel sensor, and is a six-piece modular lens, Lenovo says.

There's a tricolour LED flash, too.

The back of the camera has an interesting design that hints at its camera-centric ethos.
