Your avatar of choice

DragonBox+ gives you dozens of avatars to choose from when you start the game. And you can always change your avatar if you feel like it.

The first few levels establish the rules and show you how to move pieces around the board.

Getting dicey

As you progress, the game begins to mix in numbered dice with the pictured tiles. Also, notice that the puzzles get more complex with tile combinations that look curiously similar to fractions.

Are those numbers I see?

Much later in the game, pictures get completely replaced by numbers. This helps to clarify the mathematical concepts being learned.

No fear

On a math test, a problem like this might be scary. But within the context of the game, it's merely a puzzle that must be solved.

Grow a monster

As you pass each level, you get to see an unnamed monster grow a little. This adds an element of fun, but it would be even better if you could level up your own avatar as you progress through the game.
