Jelly was built by Twitter co-founder Biz Stone as a "social search engine." It's an app where you can ask any question and send it to your social network via Facebook and Twitter.

Add a question
Jelly is focused on photos, meaning that to add a question, you first need to take a picture. You can add photos from your phone's library or search on Google Images if needed. The photo is supposed to illustrate your question or add context.

Question time
Once you crop your image, you can add the text of your question. You can also add links and draw on your photo to make your point.

Help out others
When you're not asking questions, you can answer them. Swipe through each question and add your knowledge. You can view others' responses in the app as well.

Hey, thanks!
When someone likes the answer you left on his or her question, that person can send you a thank-you card. Jelly gets its name from jellyfish, and the app's aquatic theme shows on each thank-you card.

Once you've swiped through every available question, the app tells you to come back later when there are new questions that need answers.
