Irex, one of the early e-book reader pioneers, has taken the wraps off its $399 DR800SG. It features an 8.1-inch screen, 3G wireless connectivity from Verizon, and will be marketed through a partnership with Best Buy.
Irex's 8.1-inch digital reader has a stylus-enabled touch screen, "free" 3G wireless connectivity (Verizon), and is compatible with the Barnes & Noble e-bookstore. It costs $399 and hits stores at the end of October.
