Levi's Stadium

The San Francisco's new stadium, Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., held a public practice Friday ahead of the first game in their new stadium on Sunday, a pre-season matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos.

49ers' workout facility

The 49ers new gym, at the SAP Performance Facility adjacent to the stadium, is a stunning workout complex with rolled garage doors that provide open air access to the teams' practice fields.

That's some locker room!

The team locker room is unlike any other I have been in. Marked by high ceilings, beautiful wood lockers and excellent light, the spacious home away from home for the players is more like a giant walk-in closet than a typical locker room's concrete cavern.

Meet the press

Again, unlike the standard concrete-walled side room typical of post-game coaches talks, Levis Stadium's press conference room, with stadium seating and comfortable seats, feels more like a performance theater or music venue.

SAP scouting reports

49ers Head of Scouting Ethan Waugh stopped by Friday to speak with the press about the teams' use of SAP's scouting software to get an edge on the competition on the way to a 2015 NFL championship.

Ultimate Jumbotron selfie

Ultimate selfie! At the end of our tour, a field camera spotted us on the far walkway, and I waved, capturing this ultimate selfie on the Jumbotron.

49ers trivia

A kiosk on the plaza will test your knowledge, and rank you against other fans! All part of a day in the NFL in Silicon Valley.

Head to head matchups

At the reception desk leading to the executive office at the SAP Performance Center, the team traditionally displays each opponents team helmet, Swapping them out to the center spot on the week they play the 49ers. There seems to be high hopes this year, and rightly so, the team has plush new digs, and some sweet technology to back them on their road to victory.
