Faster network, better camera

The aptly named Titan II is HTC's upgraded version of the Titan, and is the manufacturer's first 4G LTE Windows Phone.

Similar to its predecessor, the Titan II is a hefty device, but runs on a faster AT&T network and has a bigger camera that went from 8-megapixels to 16-megapixels.

Shipping with Mango

The Titan II has a WVGA super-LCD touch screen that measures 4.7 inches, runs on a Qualcomm 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S2 processor, and is equipped with Windows 7.5 Mango.

A camera boost

The Titan II's 16-megapixel camera shoots 720p HD video and includes autofocus capabilities, dual-LED flash, and an f/2.6 28mm wide-angle lens.

Just don't call it big boned

Like its older brother, the Titan II is fairly hefty, but has a polished look and feel.

All you need is a handful

Weighing 5.2 ounces, the Titan II may be a good fit for those who have a large grasp (or don't mind developing one).

Lunch

Light and shadow, the breadcrumb texture of the ball, and graininess of the sauce were all spot on.

Plant life

For this shot, I crouched close to an outdoor plant, taken in even lighting. The focus and sharp edges looked great on the laptop screen, too. This photo was cropped, but not resized.

Pool time

Harsh light is always a challenge. It didn't seem to flummox the HTC Titan II camera's focus, though colors were predictably affected.

Hard lessons

The first lesson is, never take a self-portrait with a front-facing camera; it's always unflattering (this is my sacrifice to you, people!) Notice how the color ranges from gray to pink and back to gray? It's not the highest quality, but it'll suffice.
