HTC Desire S has a lot to live up to with Android 2.4 in an aluminium unibody
HTC has announced the next object of desire in the hugely popular Desire smart phone line-up. The HTC Desire S has exploded on to the scene at phone show MWC, bringing with it Android 2.4 Gingerbread.
The Desire runs an updated but virtually unchanged new version of 2.3 Gingerbread. It packs a 1GHz processor, 768MB RAM, 1GB of storage and a 5-megapixel camera, with a 3.7-inch 480x800-pixel screen in its Legend-like unibody aluminium casing.
The Desire S has a lot to live up to: the HTC Desire and Desire HD both hold coveted CNET UK Editors' Choice Awards, and we don't give them out just for turning up.
The Desire S will arrive in shops in the middle of Q2, which is marketing-speak for May-ish. Are you desirous of the Desire S? Is HTC set for another barnstorming year in 2011? Tell us your desires in the comments.
