We've only just finished untwisting our knickers after the panty-knotting excitement that was the official unveiling of the HTC Desire HD yesterday, when he hit you square in the face with this glorious hands-on preview. Now we're a little more composed however, we figure it's time to show you some beautiful images of HTC's gigantic wunderphone.
The HTC Desire HD is the follow-up mobile to the wildly popular HTC Desire, which received our coveted Editor's Choice award when we reviewed it earlier in the year.
The HD model improves upon the older Desire by ramping up the screen size to mammoth proportions. This is a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen behemoth, guaranteed to melt your corneas with its 480x800-pixel beauty.
Round the back you'll find an 8-megapixel camera, with 720p video recording thrown in for good measure. If you're in the mood for outputting your phone's display to a bigger screen, there's DLNA sharing as well, so you can watch 720p movies on your telly.
As if all that hardware wasn't enough to get you slobbering like some Pavlovian hound, the Desire HD also comes bundled with version 2.2 of Google's Android mobile operating system. That means you'll get everything the Android Market has to offer, and a few extra gifts courtesy of HTC's Sense UI, which you can read more about in our in-depth preview.
For now though, just enjoy those lovely photos. Ooh, they do our crooked old souls some good, they do.
