HPE's swanky new office proves servers can be fun too
You don't need to be Facebook or Google to get a cool office in Asia, as Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Asia Pacific HQ shows.

Located in Singapore, the new Asia Pacific headquarters of Hewlett Packard Enterprise shares a skybridge link with HP Inc. Both companies completed its split earlier this year, with HPE taking on the server and networking side of things, and HP Inc. continuing with the PC and printer business.
There's a wide open area for employees who don't want to work at their desks. The triangular design and split wooden beams help let light through, while still serving as a barrier for privacy.
There's a side facing the windows with views of greenery as well as residential buildings.
Meeting rooms are designed to be cosy and feel just like a living room.
Even the smaller rooms feel warm and cosy.
There are plenty of cafes in office.
This area is for HPE's customers.
Meeting rooms have braille as well for sight-impaired folks.
The customer experience area features giant touch screens.
As well as rows of virtual server racks.
Office floors have pantries with a similar design, and are nice places for employees to chill out.
The usual office space is a lot more mundane.
But employees can always relocate yourself to a more open workspace.
Meeting rooms are pretty cool looking as well.
There a club house located just a short walk away for employees. Membership costs $18 a year and employees can hang at a pool or work out at the gym.
The roof of the club house features a mini garden.
Lastly, there's a large multipurpose hall for those who want to play badminton or basketball.
